Mia Mia Wellbeing Hub
Our Mia Mia Wellbeing Hub is located at the Douglas Street entrance of Nowra East PS.
The objective of the Mia Mia Wellbeing Hub is to integrate healthcare into the education setting through improving access to health and social services.
At Mia Mia Wellbeing Hub, we foster connections with health professionals and educators to coordinate holistic treatment and implement appropriate student support in a timely manner that is free of charge to the Nowra East Public School community.
Regular screening clinics for vision and hearing are available for all students and siblings and we have a fortnightly dentist clinic on site for emergency treatment and oral health care checkups.
The team at Mia Mia Wellbeing Hub are available to discuss the referral pathway to connect with the service providers and practitioners that currently attend the hub in the following areas: Paediatrician, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Counselling, Dietician and Exercise Physiology.
