Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Principal's message

Welcome to Nowra East Public School (NEPS), a vibrant and connected community of approximately 460 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. As one of 33 schools in NSW participating in the Connected Communities strategy, we are proud to support our diverse student body, with 53% identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, through strong partnerships and focused initiatives aimed at closing the gap.

At NEPS, we are committed to providing a rich and engaging educational experience. Our dedicated staff deliver evidence-based programs with a strong emphasis on literacy, numeracy, and student wellbeing. We foster a growth mindset to build learning stamina and resilience, ensuring every child is supported to reach their full potential.

We value our partnerships with families and encourage regular communication.

Thank you for being part of our community, where every learner is valued and empowered to succeed.

Jude Hayman, Executive Principal of Nowra East Public School
